Findremix has teamed up with Hyline Music to kick off a new top remix contest featuring the United Kingdom’s trance artist Kuffdam. Winners will get released on Hyline Music plus prizes by NUSofting, Sknote and Tek’it Audio.

Kuffdam has in recent years come to embody the future of trance with a string of hit productions and remixes. A favourite with the trance establishment worldwide and especially Paul van Dyk and his Vandit imprint. 2008 saw Kuffdam come of age coupling a ground breaking album on Vandit with a world tour taking in the biggest and best clubs and events worldwide. In 2009 many exceptional singles followed, ‘The Last Time’ and ‘Break My Fall’ were both great examples of today’s modern trance sound. After taking the majority of 2010 off Kuffdam returned in February of 2011 with his ‘City Lights’ EP on Hyline Music which featured the vocals of Grant Paterson.

Kuffdam’s brand of energetic, driving trance was received to rave reviews once again and this turned out to be the perfect teaser for Kuffdam’s much rumoured new album ‘City Lights’ which is just hitting Beatport exclusive now. To help celebrate the long awaited and much anticipated new Kuffdam album, Hyline Music is offering you the chance to remix one of the tracks from it.

Azuli is not just credited as the label that nurtured the growth of underground house in the UK but in Ibiza too. Their events became a formidable force on the island for many years and helped shape the sound that you hear today. It was their Fridays at Space that set the standard and later it was their infamous secret beach parties where DJs like Pete Tong, Andy Cato and Crazy P sent out the reverberations that are still talked about to this day. It is this reputation that has spurned a flurry of enquiries for a return to the island, so watch this space, you never know, you may get to sample a piece of the Azuli experience before you know it.

Every year (since 1998) Azuli has presented its take on the island’s underground sounds and makes its seasons predictions for the summer ahead. Mueller Records wants you to be part of the Beroshima Remix contest. We are looking for some new Techno Jedi. The track we choose to be remixed is nothing less than Beroshima´s "Horizon".

Originally released on Mueller Records it was signed by Sven Väth for his Cocoon label. Beside the Cocoon release with an additional Pig & Dan remix a third release was done with Soma Records from the UK presenting the great Funk D´void Remix and two more remixes by Beroshima and Frank Muller himself. Currently all this tracks are not available anymore on Vinyl. The original will be re-released plus your remix, should it be choosen as our favourite Remix. Not all remixes will make it on Vinyl, but will be released exclusive on Beatport.

In fact, Andre has blocked the whole of November, December and January for working in the studio, to present you his new ATB album in April 2011 in conjunction with a world tour. And as a special treat, Andre gives you the exclusive chance to be part of his upcoming ATB album.

From 01.01.2011 until the 15.01.2011, you have the opportunity of uploading your very own best electronic track and to make an application for the upcoming ATB album with your track. The best track will be chosen by ATB and released in co-production with the producer on his new album.

Here are the rules:
- Each participant can only upload ONE track! The winner must prove identity by presenting a valid passport. In case your track will be chosen we'll double check name and Date Of Birth used for upload.

In this 10th edition, the volume of participation will be a record: 21 European and Middle East countries will join the competition, and hundreds of young talents will battle to become the new king of DJs of House Music. Also, professional DJs will attend in this initiative.

Movida Corona was a huge success in 2009. The final party was celebrated in the legendary London club Ministry of Sound last December, with invited DJs Felix Da Housecat and Junior Jack. They, together with the three finalist of the competition, were responsible of making all the guests dancing to their beats all night long.

In the last edition, more than 800 DJs have inscribed to this challenge and, after 8 months of competition and 14 national finals, DJ Milutxo from Spain was crowned as the best talent of 2009.

The aspiring new DJs can now subscribe at the site Movida Corona. Every participating country is selecting the 4 best DJs in the preliminary sessions. The lucky ones will contest in the National Finals to be the most talented DJ nation-wide and the one who will represent its country on the European Grand Finale, to take place in Berlin at the end of 2010.

The track up for remix is the ‘Sound of Violence’ by Burn Studios’ ambassadors Cassius. This monumental record is due for re-release in September 2010 with a colossal new remix package from Aeroplane, Luciano and Fedde Le Grande, which the winning remix will be released alongside.

How do you top that? Now the diminutive Swede is set to release a triple album in three installments. ‘Body Talk Pt 1’ picks up where ‘Robyn’ left off, with the emphasis on those sweeping, emotional dance tracks and the biting, quirky electro pop with which she made her name.

For Beatport’s next remix contest, Robyn is offering producers parts to ‘None Of Dem’, her collaboration with Röyksopp from her ‘Body Talk Pt 1’ album.

“The track which became ‘None Of Dem’ started as a beat which I already had, and loved, so it was obvious it would develop into something more,” says Robyn. “It is a really important track on ‘Body Talk Pt 1.’ Lots of people are really into it, we thought it would be interesting to see how others would reinterpret it by giving them the opportunity to remix the track!”

The opportunity
Starting June 15th, 2010, Beatport users are able to download the remix parts of Robyn’s ‘None Of Dem’, and then remix it, before uploading it to Beatportal for the voting round.

The prizes
The winners will be divided into 2 categories; 10 user voted (based on the highest number of spins) and 10 editor’s favorites (picked by Beatport’s internal music staff).
